Last Friday (16 August) The Forshaw Group celebrated its in-house achievements at its regular ‘Puddle and Pump’ event. This year the awards took longer than ever, as there were a lot of achievements to mention.
There were four categories, including training, new starters, special service and special birthdays. Each member of the team was presented with a certificate. Kimberley Meadows was presented with the special service award after 10 years at The Forshaw Group. Below is a list of those who were mentioned.
Training

Speak and Win
The team will be having a visit next month from Si Valentine from ‘Speak and Win’. He will be running a workshop to help people combat the fear of speaking. In a world where we rely heavily on digital communication, people are sometimes lacking confidence in addressing people on a one-to-one basis. Si Valentine combated his fear of being on the stage and he now shares his experiences. The workshop will improve specialist speaking skills, boost employability, build resilience and increase social and networking skills. We look forward to updating after the workshop.
Bernie Hollywood motivation and inspiration
Our offices will be delighted to also welcome Bernie Hollywood OBE next month! Bernie has dedicated 40 years to supporting numerous causes, raising an amazing £42 million for charities globally, through his charity work and daring challenges. Bernie, who most famously rowed solo across the Atlantic, will be coming in and talking to us about his adventures to motivate and inspire the team.
