The Forshaw Group was delighted to attend the Subsidence Forum Training Day on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at Mythe Barn, Atherstone.
A forum of learning
The day once again provided an excellent opportunity for learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the subsidence sector, bringing together insurers, suppliers and industry professionals to showcase best practice throughout the claims journey.
The programme featured a series of live demonstrations covering:
- First Notification of Loss (FNOL) – AXA Insurance
- Site Investigation – Shire
- Arboricultural Assessment – MWA Arboriculture
- Monitoring – SML
- Subsidence Repair – Stress
The event provided a practical understanding of the technical disciplines involved in managing subsidence claims, whilst also offering excellent networking opportunities with colleagues from across the industry.
An INS-PIRING team
Representing The Forshaw Group as part of the INS-PIRE Academy were Ross Elder, Harry Kirby, and Ryan Thomas, who joined fellow industry professionals and new entrants to gain valuable insight into the end-to-end subsidence process.
Speaking of the event, our managing director, Liam Hanlon, says, “Events such as these play a vital role in developing the next generation of industry professionals and strengthening collaboration across the subsidence community.”
“It was particularly inspiring to discuss the continued success of the INS-PIRE Academy and our recent achievement of receiving The King’s Award for Enterprise 2026 in Promoting Opportunity. This prestigious recognition reflects the outstanding work being undertaken to attract, develop and retain future talent within our sector.”
Congratulations to the Subsidence Forum Training Team, Board and Executive Committee on delivering another highly successful event. A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and delivering the day.
