AXA’s Building Repair Network launch
Liam Hanlon and operations director, John-Joseph Calvert, were pleased to attend the launch of the AXA Building Repair Network in Leeds on Wednesday 23 September. This event was a landmark day for the future of building repair. It was also a valuable opportunity to hear directly from AXA and fellow industry stakeholders, sharing insights and exploring how collaboration, innovation and new ways of working can help shape the future of the building repair sector.
The event’s message of ‘Together, we build better’ strongly reflects the importance of working collectively to raise standards, drive excellence and deliver better outcomes for customers.
Liam Hanlon said: “It was a privilege to be part of this important event and to gain a deeper insight into AXA’s vision for the future of building repair. The potential is significant, and we look forward to working collaboratively with our partners and the wider network to embrace new opportunities, share knowledge and continue raising standards across our industry.”
INS-PIRE-ing the future
The Forshaw Group was delighted to support an INS-PIRE Academy’s Industry Enhancement Day. The company welcomed young people to Wheatridge School, Gloucester, for a valuable opportunity to experience the world of work first-hand.
Hosted by E G Carter & Co Ltd, the day provided an opportunity for the students to meet industry professionals and gain insight into different roles and career pathways. There was opportunity to ask questions and develop a greater understanding of the skills and opportunities available within our sector. Industry Enhancement Days are an important part of the INS-PIRE programme. They provide young people with experiences beyond the classroom, helping to build confidence, broaden horizons and connect education with the realities of the workplace.
It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of the young attendees throughout the day. There were plenty of questions and conversations. There was also a genuine interest in learning more about the industry and the opportunities that could be available to them in the future.
