We were called out on an emergency basis, as the water main on the road had burst and the water was coursing down the inclined drive and into the canal at the bottom of the garden.

We had to do an emergency cordon area in the canal, as a lot of masonry had fallen in, to prevent damage to the canal traffic.
We liaised with the environment agency, the canal trust and local authority to agree on a programme of works to reinstate the wall with the least interruption to the canal traffic.

We did a pile design with engineers and carried out the works under a building inspector, canal inspector, and engineer’s direction.
