At The Forshaw Group, we can be called upon to respond to emergencies at any time of the day or night, and we recently received one such call-out.
The Project
We received information of a claim from LV and Quadra Claims on 11 February 2022 at 9:30am, requesting our team of technicians to attend a property in Whitchurch, to survey it and make it safe.
A coach had unfortunately impacted the front of the property the night previously, and damaged three of the front rooms. The elderly gentleman who lives at the property was unharmed, but had left the property for safety.
The Challenge
Our expert team of technicians attended the site to see what was required to secure the property and assess the damage. We submitted a report to Quadra Claims, which enabled the claim to proceed with the make-safe. Our team then worked late into the night to ensure that the property was secured and water tight.
The Outcome
We received feedback via LV that the daughter of the elderly property owner had called to say that she was extremely happy with the work our team had done.
Our managing director, Liam Hanlon, commented: “We were thrilled to have helped safe-guard the property, and hope the owner will be able to return soon once it is restored.”
