A fire in a lower flat caused damage affecting 5 flats in the property and 50% of the roof. We tendered for works and were awarded the job. We had to liaise with the local authority, the building inspector, fire inspector, building manager, and the remaining tenants.
We had a full perimeter scaffold erected and a covered work area to the roof and completed the roof removal and renewal and external cladding and steel work to the top floor through the winter period under the canopy.
All the flats were stripped back to the framework, rewired, replumbed, plastered, decorated and tiled and fitted out to the former condition.
