Welcoming construction innovations
Ben was pleased to recently attend the Subsidence Forum with our managing director, Liam Hanlon.
They listened to a presentation by Heidelberg Materials on the world’s first carbon-captured cement.
Speaking of the presentation, Ben said: “It was interesting to see how Heidelberg Materials has innovated an age-old process, and to hear the implications it will have on the industry as the company looks to expand and manufacture this product outside of Norway.
“This will make it a highly bespoke product, and more readily available to carbon-conscious building contractor’s and their clients.
“Heidelberg Materials advised that it’s in the process of planning to retrofit an existing cement works in Wales, which will be the first of its kind in the UK.”
Reducing our business carbon production

We are in the first stages of beginning talks to see how we can apply our processes to other contractors in our client’s network.
