On 1 December 2024, several of our employees were part of the 8,000 people who set out to complete Liverpool’s Santa Dash 2024, a 5k festive fun run through the city.
Our team gathered at the Pier Head in their red (and blue!) Santa suits, ready for the race to kick off at 9:30am. The route led thousands of people of all ages dressed as Santa running through the Royal Albert Dock, around the city, and finishing outside of the Town Hall.
20 years of the Liverpool Santa Dash
This year marked the 20th anniversary of the annual Liverpool Santa Dash, and we are proud that our employees have been participating in this festive event for the last five years, raising money for many great local charities including Claire House Children’s Hospice, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and North West Air Ambulance.
Speaking of the team taking part in the festive fun run, our managing director, Liam Hanlon, says “There’s nothing quite like seeing thousands of Santas walking and jogging through Liverpool, and this event always kick-starts Christmas for our team here at The Forshaw Group. I am always very proud of our members of staff who choose to dress up and take part, and we were delighted to raise £200 for charity this year.”
We are already looking forward to next year’s Santa Dash.
