A lot of time and effort goes into ensuring we have all the necessary accreditations at The Forshaw Group. This is why we are delighted that we were recently re-awarded ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation. This achievement and recertification are testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in maintaining our good practices that are embedded in our robust systems and processes.
What accreditations do The Forshaw Group have?
Along with our recertification for ISO 9001: 2015, we have a raft of industry accreditations. These range from our Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) to British Damage Management Association (BDMA) accreditation. We also work hard to achieve and maintain the accreditation that our insurance company customers introduce, such as Liverpool Victoria’s LV Green Heart. Each one represents a specific area where we have demonstrated our compliance and met or exceeded the expectations of the auditing body.
Why are accreditations important?
Accreditations are important as they show that an organisation has clearly demonstrated its capabilities. Also, that is has been assessed by an independent third party. This shows that the work they carry out is of the highest standard. Accreditations puts businesses on a level playing field and their capabilities can be judged against each other. When everyone follows the same code of practice, then the work will be subject to the highest quality standard. This ensures that the customer can have confidence in using the company.
It is not unreasonable to expect health and safety to be at the heart of any company’s policies and procedures. But in general, accredited companies offer the customer the highest standard of work, which goes beyond just trustworthiness, competence and compliance.
Commented Liam Hanlon, managing director at The Forshaw Group: “This renewal of an important accreditation is testament to our rigorous approach, along with the hard work and commitment of our team. We will continue to review and amend our processes where necessary, as we enter a new phase of our compliance management.”
