One of our directors at The Forshaw Group, Glen Simpson, was delighted to be invited to play at LV’s charity golf day this month.
Teeing off on Tuesday 14 June, the full-day’s event was held at the Remedy Oak Golf Club in Dorset, to help raise funds for Family Action.
This charity has been helping to transform the lives of families in need across the UK since 1869, providing practical, emotional and financial support to those struggling with poverty, disadvantage and social isolation.
LV is proud to have been partnering with Family Action for the last three years, and helps support the free FamilyLine service. This offers confidential aid to families using a network of volunteers, through telephone calls, email, web chats and text messages. This support has been more important than ever for Family Action, both during and since the pandemic.
The Forshaw Group further helped to assist the cause by sponsoring the longest drive. A charity auction was also held after the golfing event, to raise further essential funds.
