With new premises opening across Knowsley, Manchester and North Wales, The Forshaw Group is dedicated to progressing the training and development of its staff to facilitate this business growth. This is in line with The Forshaw Group’s ambitious Re-Imagine Project, which looks to enhance its staff’s inclusion, diversity, and development across the business.
The Forshaw Group has been providing the means for essential qualifications to be undertaken, to further deliver the company’s restoration services for its clients.
Senior Leadership Team (SLT) training
The company has initiated specialist leadership training for its new Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The team was coached over several months by Paul Reynolds of Mentor Corporate Coaching in all aspects of leadership and personal development. This comprised of members of staff from all levels of the business; including director Glen Simpson, HR Coordinator Angela Bruder, Surveyor Kimberley Meadows and restoration specialists Graeme English and John Calvert, amongst others.
The ‘graduates’ were recently presented with their certificates at the final session on Thursday 10 June. The team will now progress into new leadership roles within the business across our new regional offices in Knowsley, Manchester, and North Wales.
BDMA training
The company is also expanding its commitment to its BDMA (British Damage Management Association) management and training plan, assisting all its technicians to become BDMA Associate members. This membership is a key requirement for practitioners wishing to gain accreditation in the damage management sector.
Dave Chiocchi, senior technician at The Forshaw Group, is leading the drying and restoration training to this team, across their Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 accreditations, to be achieved by the end of this year. He will also be providing updates and insights to any of The Forshaw Group’s insurance clients that require additional training on the damage management industry.
This training also allows free access to the BDMA eLearning modules, to assist with future development of the team on the latest industry knowledge.
NOCN training
The Forshaw Group is also proud to announce Jermaine Pusey has achieved his NOCN_Cskills Awards Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering. Jermaine has been with the trade team for 18 months, delivering building repairs to The Forshaw Group’s clients.
